Rachael B. Goldman, Ph.D., AAA is a certified member of the Appraisers Association of America, and has over 20 years of experience working with collections of Archives, Judaica, Antiquities, Prints, Holocaust-era Archives, Cuban Art, and Folk Art at institutions worldwide. She was an auction specialist as well.

Dr. Goldman's proficiency in 6 languages also helps build each appraisal with credible results. She continues to learn through Professional Development, and is currently a candidate for the Jewish Librarianship Certificate at The Jewish Theological Seminary.

Dr. Goldman is trained, tested, and in compliance with the qualifying and continuing education requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

Ancient History

In addition to her appraisal work, Dr. Goldman is an independent scholar of Global History and Ancient History. Her first book and subsequent publications, Essays in Global Color History: Interpreting the Ancient Spectrum, explores complex attitudes toward the creation, production, and display of ancient color from a variety of civilizations.

Dr. Goldman participated in the 4th Annual Julian Francis Abele Public History Symposium at Monmouth University.
